Needingworth wetland nature reserve to Bluntisham (8 miles) Added Dec 2013
Although one of the newest in the area, this walk is packed with wild grasses and flowers, bees, butterflies, dragonflies, birds and lots of other wildlife. And exactly half way is the pleasant Prince of Wales pub garden, drink and food. Add an elevated view of the river Great Ouse and this walk is a winner.

Kings Ripton circular walk (7 miles)
You're unlikely to meet anyone along this route, so it's a serene amble across farmland and through the wildlife friendly managed Abbots Ripton Estate. Brought on is a pretty village and The Crown Inn is a great pub for refreshments or lunch, though you'll need to book at weekends. And if you're lucky you'll see hares and red kites.

Swavesey to Church End circular walk (6 miles) Added Dec 2013
An easy circular walk through fields, pleasant villages and along riverside, with food and refreshments available. There's good historic interest and high levels of wildlife, particularly butterflies and dragonflies.

|
Houghton to Godmanchester circular walk (8 miles)
A break half way at Godmanchester for a snack or lunch makes this walk much shorter, so don't be put off by the 8 mile total. There's great variety, with lovely old houses at Houghton and Godmanchester, lots of river and lakeside walking with plenty of wildlife. If it's a nice warm day there's great value food at Bellman's Bakery in Godmanchester to eat out in the nearby park or countryside. Only downside is the A14 traffic noise.

|
Houghton to Hemingford Abbots (3 miles)
A short amble along riverside and through fields. Lovely houses in Houghton and Hemingford Abbots and great places for lunch or refreshments at The Axe and Compass or Houghton Mill cafe. Includes options to extend and vary the route.
|
|
Somersham to Colne (5 miles)
An easy walk across open fields. Colne has some attractive buildings and a spooky village graveyard, and The Green Man pub perfectly positioned at the half way point for good pub food and beer. Plenty of skylarks and you may be lucky to see a yellowhammer.

|
Brampton circular walk (2 miles or 5 miles) Added Feb 2014
A short walk down a leafy lane, along riverside and across fields, with historical interest and a variety of places to eat. Also the option to extend the route to take in England's largest meadow.
|
|
Holywell circular walk (3 miles or 7 miles)
Taking in a good mix of field and woodland, this walk includes the pretty Saxon ring village of Holywell, complete with peaceful churchyard to take a rest and an ancient well. There's food and refreshments at The Olde Ferry Boat Inn. It's reputed to be the oldest pub in England, with accompanying ghost; just wish the coffee was better. On the longer route The Pike and Eel is a better option.

|
Somersham fields and allotment gardens (3 miles)
A short walk through pleasant leafy lanes, woodland copses, open fields and varied allotment gardens.

Hi there, I think your link to the Swavesey walk may be broken as it points to the Kings Ripton walk again. Thanks
